Firearms Training Classes
Expert training for new firearms owners up to CCW holders.
Below are a list of our classes as well as a descriptions of what we teach and cover in the classes.

LEVEL 1: FOUNDATIONS OF PISTOL HANDLING & MOVEMENT
This introductory course establishes the essential skills and mindset necessary for practical defensive shooting. Students will gain familiarity with their equipment, develop fundamental drawing techniques, and establish a solid shooting grip. Under instructor supervision, students will engage in progressive dry fire drills designed to build consistency, control, and confidence. Timed drills introduce pressure and reinforce economy of motion. As students advance, they will begin learning the basics of movement while shooting. The session culminates in a one-on-one timed shoot-off to test retention, accuracy, and composure under stress.
LEVEL 2: MOVEMENT, DISTANCE, AND STRESS RESPONSE
Building upon the foundational skills from Level 1, this class introduces dynamic shooting under pressure and movement. Students begin with warm-up draws, then progress through advanced dry fire routine drills incorporating the Tueller Drill to understand the realities of reaction time and distance. Shooters will learn to draw and fire accurately while moving in various directions, simulating real-world engagements. The course emphasizes stress inoculation, integrating drills that elevate heart rate to simulate physiological stress during confrontation. The session concludes with a one-on-one walk-and-draw shoot-off.

Key Skills:
Equipment setup & handling fundamentals
Drawing from the holster
Establishing a consistent grip
Timed drills under light pressure
Introduction to movement while engaging targets
1:1 student shoot-off
Key Skills:
Tueller Drill (21-foot rule) response training
Drawing and shooting while moving
Lateral, forward, and rearward movement techniques
Shooting under elevated heart rate and cognitive stress
Progressive movement-based stress drills

LEVEL 3: ADVANCED TARGET TRANSITIONS & USE OF COVER
This level advances into rapid target acquisition and high-speed engagements. Students will refine their draw and transition to predictive shooting techniques, enabling faster target-to-target engagement without sacrificing accuracy. Emphasis is placed on shooting while moving dynamically and using both cover and concealment effectively. Students will train to identify and differentiate between types of cover, utilizing real-time movement techniques to shoot around and through obstacles. The final shoot-off tests the student's ability to rapidly engage targets while maneuvering through a simulated environment with concealment.

LEVEL 4: UNCONVENTIONAL POSITIONS & ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY
Level 4 is designed to push students to perform in complex, compromised, and non-traditional shooting scenarios. The class begins with warm-up draws and transitions into drawing and firing from seated and prone positions. Students will learn how to safely and efficiently clear and operate their firearm while laying in various prone positions. Movement drills in and out of seated, kneeling, and prone states are conducted using simulated cover and concealment. The class concludes with a final shoot-off where students must apply all prior skills while moving, engaging multiple targets, and utilizing available cover in real-time.
